Brand Profile

Your Brand Profile is how Adlyse understands your business — who you sell to, what sets you apart, who you’re up against, and what you’re trying to win. Every recommendation, report, and decision the assistant makes is grounded in it. So the sharper your profile, the sharper and more on-brand everything Adlyse does on your behalf.

What good looks like

A strong profile is specific: a real audience (not “everyone”), a clear edge over named competitors, the goals you’re actually optimizing for, and the honest constraints you work under. Vague in, vague out.

What it holds#

  • Positioning — the short version of who you sell to, what makes you different, and the goals you’re steering toward.
  • Competitors — the companies you’re up against, each with a research profile built from their website and public presence.
  • Facts about your business — the specific, checkable things Adlyse has learned about you: your audience, where buyers sit in the funnel, hard constraints, and anything that’s off-limits. The assistant treats these as ground truth and won’t work against them.

Why it’s worth getting right#

The assistant doesn’t guess about your business — it reads your Brand Profile. A thin profile leaves it filling gaps with generic assumptions; a rich one lets it speak in your voice, respect your constraints, and weigh every move against the competitors that actually matter to you. It’s the single highest-leverage thing you can tune to make every other part of Adlyse better.

Building and publishing#

Adlyse builds your first profile automatically during onboarding, from your website and any competitors you name. After that, you keep it current:

  • Edit anything, and your changes stay as a draft until you’re ready.
  • Publish to make a draft the live profile. Nothing you edit reaches the assistant until you publish it.
  • Re-research re-crawls your sites to refresh your positioning, while keeping the competitors you’ve chosen to track.

Tracking competitors#

Add or remove competitors right from the panel. Each new one kicks off a background research job that fills in its profile and updates on the page as it finishes — no need to reload. The competitors you track here are the same ones that power your Brand Watch ad feed, so add a rival once and you’ll see both its profile and its live ads.

How it powers the assistant#

Your Brand Profile is rendered live into every conversation — you maintain your brand in one place here, not in a document that drifts. See Files for how it combines with the standing guidelines and platform playbooks the assistant also follows.

Availability

Brand Profile is included on the Starter plan and above. On plans without it, you’ll see an upgrade prompt in place of the panel.
