Brand Watch
Open Brand Watch when you want to see exactly what other brands are running right now — their live ads from Meta and Google, side by side, so you can size up the competition and borrow ideas that are clearly working. These are other companies’ ads, not your own; for your synced creatives, see Creatives.
In one line
Add a competitor by their website address and Adlyse pulls their live Meta and Google ads into one board — usually within a few minutes.
Watch a competitor (or any brand)#
Add a company by its website from the Add company control — up to 10 at a time. Adlyse starts pulling that brand’s live Meta and Google ads in the background; a company shows as pulling until its first batch of ads lands.
What to do: track the brands you compete with, plus any whose ads you admire and want to learn from. Watch a mix — competitors keep you honest, and outside inspiration keeps your own creative fresh.
Shared with Brand Profile
The competitors you watch here are the same ones your Brand Profile tracks — add a company in either place and it shows up in both.
Reading the ad board#
Ads render as a masonry board, one card per creative. Each card tells you:
- Platform — a Meta or Google badge with the platform’s logo, so you know where the ad ran.
- Real placement shape — tiles match the ad’s actual format (square, 4:5, 9:16, and so on) instead of a fixed thumbnail, so you see the ad the way its audience did.
- Video — video ads show a poster frame with a play button; click to watch inline.
- Last seen — how recently the ad was still live (e.g. “3d ago”); hover for the exact date.
What to do: scan for the ads a brand keeps running. A recent “last seen” means the ad is still live — and the ones a competitor sustains week after week are usually the ones working hardest for them.
When a competitor is stealing your impressions#
When Home flags a Google Search impression-share drop — your ads showing less often because you’re being out-ranked, not because your budget ran out — Adlyse AI can pin it on a specific competitor. It lines up your drop against each watched brand’s ad-library activity over the same window and names whoever ramped up.
Impression share is simply the slice of available ad views you actually captured; when it falls on relevance rather than budget, someone is likely outbidding you.
If you aren’t tracking anyone yet, Adlyse AI auto-discovers up to 3 competitors to check. It only names a brand when their activity genuinely lines up with your drop — otherwise it tells you it can’t, rather than guessing.
A note on cost
That auto-discovery draws on your organization’s strategy usage. It isn’t charged to you directly, but it’s real work happening on your behalf.
Common flows#
- Size up a new competitor. Add their website, then scan their board for the offers and angles they’re leaning on.
- Find your next ad. Watch brands you admire and study what they keep running.
- Catch who’s outbidding you. When Home flags a rank-driven drop, let Adlyse AI name the competitor behind it.
