Reports

When you need to show a client or your boss how the last week — or the last quarter — went, Reports turns your synced data into a polished PDF, with the narrative written by AI against your numbers, your brand profile, and your guidelines.

In one line

Pick a template, choose your accounts and dates, and hit Generate. Your PDF is usually ready in under a minute.

Templates#

Adlyse ships with a template for every audience:

  • Weekly check-in (7 days) — a quick status read with wins, concerns, and where to focus next.
  • Monthly performance (30 days) — deeper trends, budget pacing, and creative performance.
  • Optimization activity log — a digest of every change logged against an account during the period.
  • Executive KPI summary — short and numbers-first.
  • QBR quarterly — a comprehensive quarterly review.

Want your own house style? Clone any system template and edit its section list to create one owned by your workspace.

Generate a report#

Pick a template#

From Reports → Create Report, choose the template that fits your audience.

Choose your accounts and dates#

Select one or more ad accounts (up to 10) and set the period (up to 31 days).

Adjust the details (optional)#

Override the title or trim the section list if you want a tighter report.

Generate#

Hit Generate. Adlyse writes the PDF in the background — the status moves from pending to rendering to ready. Most reports finish in 10–30 seconds; big ones spanning many accounts can take up to about two minutes. If something goes wrong, the report shows as failed with an error you can act on.

Preview before you share#

Once a report is ready, click Preview to open the full PDF inline. It’s the exact file your recipients will get — what you see is what they see — so you can check it before downloading or sending.

Trace any claim back to the numbers#

Click any section heading in a report to open the detail sidebar, which shows the metrics and entities behind that part of the narrative. Because it separates campaigns, ad sets, and ads, you can follow a headline like “CPA improved 18%” straight down to the specific campaigns that earned it. (CPA is what you pay per conversion.)

Wins and concerns#

Every report calls out what beat expectations and what fell short by checking your actual results against the targets you’ve set. Adlyse picks the top three of each and writes them up.

A metric counts as a win when it beats its target by more than 10%, and a concern when it misses by more than 10%.

Report length adjusts to the week#

Each report carries a volatility band — Quiet, Normal, or Volatile — that reflects how much your numbers moved during the period. A quiet week produces a short, tight report; a volatile week produces a longer one with more context on what shifted and why.

Targets#

Set targets from Reports → Targets to tell Adlyse what “good” looks like. Each target ties a metric — spend, conversions, CPA (cost per conversion), ROAS (revenue per $1 spent), CTR (click-through rate), or impressions — to a period (daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly) and a value. Set them for the whole workspace, a single account, or a single campaign.

Scheduled reports#

Don’t want to remember to run these? The Schedules page sets up recurring reports: pick a template, a cadence, and where to deliver them — in-app, email, Slack, or a client portal — and Adlyse generates and sends them automatically.

Approval before delivery#

For client-facing reports, you can require a teammate to review the PDF before it goes out. Those reports wait for review, then move to approved (and deliver) or rejected. Turn this on per template.

Common flows#

  • Send a weekly status. Generate the Weekly check-in, preview it, and share the PDF — or schedule it so it sends itself every Monday.
  • Prep for a QBR. Run the QBR quarterly template across the client’s accounts and use the detail sidebar to back up each headline.
  • Keep clients in the loop safely. Turn on approval so nothing reaches a client until a teammate has signed off.

Set a cadence and delivery channels, and let Adlyse send them for you.

For developers

The adlyse-reports server exposes the full reports surface: list_report_templates, list_reports, and get_report to read; generate_report to create and queue one; and list_report_targets for the targets behind wins and concerns.
