Start an editable ad plan from an existing ad in the Library.
Pass a creative’s id from list_creative_library as creative_id. The import keeps source identity and copies supported creative fields; inspect its issues and fill missing settings before publication. It never edits the source ad or publishes a copy. Imported ads can then be customized in this same chat or expanded with create_ad_plan_variants.
Prefer live=True for a full current-source import, including dynamic and video creatives. For multiple linked ads, choose ad_id explicitly. Use intent=“edit” to stage a guarded edit, or under_existing_adset=True to keep the original parent settings. live=False is a partial saved copy; it cannot reproduce dynamic/video creatives or edit a live ad.
