update_geo_workspace
Apply a reviewed, site-scoped GEO change. Requires workflow-management permission
and the AI-visibility entitlement. Parameters: site_source_id, operation,
payload object and integer revision from get_geo_workspace. A stale revision
is rejected. Changes are atomic and create audit events; refresh after success.
| Operation | Payload |
|---|---|
settings | engines, cadence_days (1/3/7/14/28), site_monthly_cap_usd (optional lower monthly stop for this site; null uses the plan stop), locale |
entity | name, domain, role (own/competitor), aliases, exclusions; adds or updates the org brand and includes it in AI checks for every site (at most 30) |
remove_entity | domain; takes the brand out of AI checks (it stays on the brand list) |
fact | approved text, HTTP source_url, effective valid_from date |
retire_fact | fact id |
claim | answer_id, exact excerpt, verdict, active fact_ids, reason |
review_fact | People only (the wrong-fact card’s “These answers are right”); refused for the assistant, whose assessments never settle a card |
roster | questions with text/topic/audience/source/source_reference/intent, pause_ids |
review_portfolio | empty object; queues semantic suggestions without roster edits |
crawl_import | rows: request_id, timezone-aware timestamp, owned URL, agent, HTTP status |
Sources: gsc, paid_search, customer, ai_suggested, licensed_ai_demand. Imported
provenance is a user assertion (source_verified=false), not independently
verified volume. The roster remains capped by the organization’s plan. Preview
and review roster changes before applying them; added questions need a baseline.
Claim verdicts: supported, contradicted, inconclusive, not_covered. Settled verdicts require approved facts. Never invent approval or supporting excerpts.
Opportunity states: new, investigating, linked, recheck, resolved, dismissed, snoozed. Link only existing work belonging to the site. A recheck requires a recorded implementation; resolution requires matched follow-up samples. Workspace operations do not approve or publish content. Reuse normal growth-work tools.
Crawler imports accept at most 500 rows, within 180 days, and deduplicate request IDs. Bot identity remains unverified. Provider thresholds stop future calls; in-flight requests can exceed them. API locales are not geographic targeting.
